New Kindergarten Information
Step #1: Complete Online Registration
2022-2023 Kindergarten registration will open on February 15, 2022.
*Any child who has a legal settlement in Westfield Washington Schools("WWS") and is five years of age on or before August 1st of this year may enroll in the kindergarten program.

- Using the map/address tool on the registration page, please verify which school your child should attend. During the online registration, please select the correct school.
- Create your account (must have an email address to register)
* Documents needed - Birth Certificate, Proof of Residency, Driver's License, and current/updated Immunizations. These items will need to be scanned DURING the registration process.
Step #2: Fill out the "Getting to Know Your Child" Form
Please click HERE to complete the "Getting to Know Your Child" form. This will give the teachers some basic background/developmental information about your child.
Step #3: Purchase Supplies
Option #1: Purchase prepackaged supply kits through the Carey Ridge PTO. If you order a kit, your child's supplies will be delivered straight to his/her teacher's classroom before school starts. The deadline to order is June 15th. Please click HERE (will be available soon) to begin your order. Once you are on the site, please enter the schools zip code 46074 and search for Carey Ridge. Visa, Mastercard, and Discover are accepted.
Option #2: If you prefer to shop on your own, you can download a copy of the list by clicking HERE.
Step #4: View Carey Kids Night Presentation
Click HERE to view the Carey Kids Night Presentation. This holds all of the information you need for the upcoming year.
Step #5 - Sign Up for Before and After Care (optional)
If your child will need before and aftercare, please click HERE to visit the Student Support Services page for the BAC program. Sign up for the 2022-2023 school year will open on May 2nd. This program is very popular and fills up quickly.
Step #6: Fill Out Safe Visitor Background Check
(Please have this done before the start of school. The process can take 3-4 days after you have submitted your information online.)
At this time, we are allowing a limited number of visitors in the building.
A SafeVisitor background check will be required for anyone who visits our schools, including family members of our students. (You may visit the school office without a background check but will need one to enter the building where students are present.)

We will be holding a kindergarten screening for anyone who missed the April 20th screening in mid to late July. We will contact you when we have more information.
